Dr. Franci Zingrone is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional in Illinois with over two decades of clinical experience. She began her career in 1998 and has focused on trauma and abuse since 2002. In 2010, she opened her private practice, where she passionately supports individuals who have experienced trauma or abuse.
Dr. Zingrone earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University in 2006 and also holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. She has specialized training in treating Complex Psychological Trauma and PTSD. In addition to traditional psychotherapy approaches, she is extensively trained in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAGALA, O.K. Corral Series), which she finds highly effective in her practice.
She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP), and several honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa, Psi Chi, and Phi Sigma Iota.
